I applied online. I interviewed at Spotify (London, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
Initial invitation to complete an assessment. It was a series of psychometric tests. You can research these online and practice and then check your scoring at the end of the process.
Great and communicative. Things moved a bit slow, but no longer than some other places I've interviewed with. They always answered my follow up emails and let me know when I did not receive an offer.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Spotify (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
Phone screening interview followed by an in-person interview. The phone-screening was a pleasant process but the in-person interview was a bit odd. The person leading the interview had not been at the company long and seemed to be rushed and distracted. Possibly little experience conducting interviews as the questions seemed rote. I left with the impression that several recent hires has left staff involved with hiring burnt out on the interview process.
