I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spotify
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews starting with typical HR and then a coding test (half Python fizzbuzz/half basic SQL). Afterwards you are given a week to do a case study (what makes a playlist successful) and then there is a 4 hr block where you walk through your presentation and then do 4 other interviews with members across the team.
HR told me they would get back the Monday after the final round. I waited an additional week and they never got back. After reaching out they said they selected someone else for the position but they would be happy to set up a call and give feedback. I gave them several availabilities over the next days for feedback and they never got back, nor did they respond to several follow-up emails I sent.

Question 1
Python question was fizzbuzz.
Telle me about a/b testing
Gonna do it in a few days, so i'll get back with more info after that. I recieved the email invitation, with some instructions. Tone is inviting right now, we'll see how the interview feels after this
The hiring manager started the first round interview with "I'm gonna get ahead of this but based on your experience I don't think it's a good fit." Huh?? Then why do the interview in the first place? this wasn't even a referral? They were dismissive the whole interview and I couldn't wait for it to end. Also mentioned the role wouldn't be technical which tells me the JD was misleading. Additionally, the pay is below average for the level of experience they were requiring. Overall, not worth it - especially if the interview would be indicative of management style.
