Spotify Senior Engineer interview questions

Phone screen consisting of a paired coding session followed by an interview with hiring manager. Second (final) round consisted of 4 panel (pair) interviews, two behavioral, one system design, one additional coding.

Waste of time. Recruiter was out of her depth, and the team didn't seem to have a connection to the larger overall mission. A lot of autonomy but very little strategic direction. The "staff" engineer who interviewed me seemed really insecure and got defensive when I asked him basic clarifying info about his job. He stopped our interview 15 minutes early because he got the time wrong, and then gave me a thumbs down for not going into more detail in my solution. What can you do. On the bright side most of the questions were pretty easy and the work doesn't seem hard.
