I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Square Root (Austin, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online and heard back from the recruiting manager very shortly after. My phone screen was a few days after I applied and was fairly standard - understanding my background, experience, and aspirations and how they applied to the role I was interviewing for. I was invited back for an onsite interview, where I met with 2 executives whom I would be supporting and the operations manager, whom I would be working with most closely. They each had very different interview styles and different questions. I felt like I got a good sense of the company through those conversations. I was told there were a couple other candidates going through the process and they gave me an expected timeline of when I would hear back. I heard back 1 week later and was told I was being given an offer! All in all, the process took 3 weeks and I felt I was kept in the loop the entire time.
