The interview consisted of (1) a preliminary call about the position and my interests, (2) a code screening, and (3) an on-site presentation + discussion. The code screening had me solve some reasonable, well-defined problems and the interviewers were very friendly. Without giving away the solution, they acted like supporters, not adversaries. During the on-site visit, I presented some of my past work, we discussed how I might be able to help them, and I got to ask about what it's like to work at SC and what their plans are. The engineers had very good questions and comments during my presentation.
