Stantec Co-Op interview questions

Was interviewed for a summer position in Quebec, and I was told that I couldn't get hired if I didn't speak French. After asking about work or projects in other provinces, the interviewer said that Quebec's division wasn't in contact with other parts of Stantec and he ended the meeting early.
