I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Staples (The Dalles, OR) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online, within 2 days the Assistant Manager got a hold of me and asked me some basic question over the phone like "Can you do an OS installation?" "Do you know how to transfer data?" After answering yes to both of them she asked if I could come in the next day for an interview, my first interview was with the GM, it was pretty casual. We sat at a desk in the furniture area and he ran over the basic questions with me and I was actually unconfident because he seemed to not be very interested in me and I was nervous.
Basic questions asked not a whole lot to it pretty standard to any retail job. Can’t really remember everything they asked. Easy to pass job but hard job. Just act as if you have common sense.
I got a email right away and I go the job same day. Questions were simple and I was able to start the next week and was able to get paid the next week.
Easy normal interview process offered job on spot and did not have difficulty in questions. Mostly normal interview questions asked if I can add on more roles kinda hesitant cause they didn’t offer more pay toward it
