Phone Interview
In person interview
Merchandising presentation
The interview screen was about 20 minutes and general and wanted to know if you knew about staples promotional products - he then provided sites to reference if I'd be called in for an in person interview. I was called in for an interview a week later and then did my second in person interview the following week on a Friday and got the job on the following Monday pretty easy process with the exception of the presentation which took up some time
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you work in a team
Show me work you are proud of
Tell me about yourself
What other roles/departments would you consider
Are you adaptable to change
One pre-screening call and then two rounds of interviews with merchandising team. After two weeks of no response I reached out to HR rep and never heard back. Interview was pretty standard and people were nice but ghosting a candidate who spent three weeks interviewing was unprofessional.
the interview was 2 step, my current merchant and her directive. Both conversations were 1 hour, and they contacted me the following week with their decision (got the job). I do have to see, the recruiting team that reached out to me had ghosted me for a month, and the n reached out with no explanation to why. I was scheduled to speak with the recruiter on a Friday and she never called me.
