I got hired a few months after 4 years ago. The core element of things should remain the same, but some things might not.
You'll be brought to the managers office (or the furniture area) for your meeting and will be asked why you want to work there before you're told what they need from you. How you respond is how they will decide if they want you.
Just be friendly and confident. That's the core of being a tech associate.
Do know before going in, they want sellers. And more than just PC sales. They want upsellers. What can you sell on top of that PC. Because to be frank, that's what's more important to them. This position survives based on how many protection plans you sell.
Quick and informative. I was introduced to what is expected in an average work day, what is expected of a successful employee, and employee benefits. I was also introduced to potential coworkers who share their experiences.

Done during the store hours. I was able to get a feel for the environment the interview itself was very calm and easy to get through. I accepted the job right then and there so I could get eased into my role.
