I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (City of London, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
I was invited for an interview after handing in my CV in person. The questions were all prepared and generally easy, some situational, some personality-related. The interview was in person, which is a lot better, in my opinion. Questions didn't need much preparation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me what Starbucks drink represented me. They also asked me about a time I was told no by a superior and how I reacted to it.
I also remember a question about getting feedback and how I react to it.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
After applying online they invited me for an online interview that was a group interview then the next stage would have been a one to one digital interview over zoom.

Question 1
What's a difficult customer interaction you've had?
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
