They got back to me within about a week after submitting my app with an invitation for a HireVue. It was a simple video interview where you record yourself speaking after reading a question, and you have two chances to record your answer. The questions were mostly all behavioral in nature, then at the end you have a "coding challenge" which was a simple string manipulation task. After completing the interview, I heard nothing back from State Farm for another week. Sent an email to their general talent acquisition support email address just asking if I was still being considered--received no response. The next day, I log in to my profile to check the status of my application, and the requisition is showing "closed". Still haven't received any kind of information telling me I didn't get the job, no feedback, nothing. It's fine for a company to find a candidate an unsuitable fit, but to not even communicate with them throughout the process or after the position has been filled is just disrespectful.
Multi round with technical round more so a background knowledge test on the tech stack the team uses. no coding problems. 3 interviewers in technical round, quite nice and welcoming.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at State Farm in Jun 2026

The HR sent me an email and asked if I am interested about an opening position with an invited link. I applied thourgh the link and then got the hire vue interview invitaion. It is just recording videos and sharing experiences.
Hire Vue video Interview, but they get back to you pretty quickly. They are trying to get through a lot of applicants and it is obvious in their hiring process.
