I applied using their careers site. It took about a week or so before being sent an email to complete a hirevue interview where you record yourself answering questions. This included a few coding questions as well. About a week or so later, was asked to participate in an video interview with three directors, one being the boss over the position. They asked me questions about my background, tech stack experience, and my long term goals. Overall I thought it was a decent interview process. After the interview, about 5 minutes or so in fact, I was offered the position, but this is when my experience became neutral. HR for State Farm asked me to make a decision within 2 days, while the salary was much lower than industry standard. I asked for more money before receiving an offer, and they told me it would take more time to get an actual offer. I assumed it wouldn't work out, and I was right, about a week later, they informed me the position was cancelled, but they would like to submit me for other positions. Overall I didn't appreciate them trying to push me to take the lowball offer.
