Interview
2/17/15
First, State Farm came to our university to talk to our A.I.S Organization. They also had a quad-copter as a door prize. Their team consisted of a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Systems Security and a Manager. I introduced myself and gave the Business Analyst my resume that night.
2/18/15
The next day, they attended our schools career fair. I talked with the same Business Analyst (BA) and a recruiter that day as well. I gave them my resume again, and they gave me a job code to look up and apply for. I applied for the position that night as well as emailed and connected with the BA on LinkedIn.
3/3/15
I received an invitation to have a phone interview.
3/12/15
I had my phone interview with another BA and a manager, which consisted of basic HR questions and general concept questions over different languages (Rate your level of understanding). I was also notified that they would recommend me for a video conference with corporate for an onsite visit

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to coordinate across multiple areas to achieve an outcome.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2024
Interview
It was a three step process. I had to do an online interview via hirevue where you get random questions and have 2 minutes to answer. If you pass that round, you talk to the recruiter and they tell you next steps and the benefits package. For the real interview, i spoke with 3 hiring managers and it took after an hour.

Question 1
Give an example of when you used X? Like SQL, Excel, etc
HireVue video interview
Interview had around 5-6 general HR questions.
You will get practice time for each question. Once practice time is up, HireVue starts recording. It seemed fairly easy at beginning. I would prefer in person interview than this type of interview.
