The process took 3 days. I interviewed at State Farm (Columbus, OH) in Dec 2022
Interview
I applied for a Claim Specialist posting on 12/6. The next morning, I received notification that I was invited to complete a digital interview. I completed the digital interview on the same day. The digital interview consisted of 7 STAR format questions. You pre-record your answers and send them off. You have 30 seconds to prepare for each question. You also have the ability to re-record your answers once for each question, but you must submit your second result if you do this. Once this portion is finished you will receive another email advising you that you will be contacted if selected to proceed forward. I received an email the following morning with an invite to set up a time to discuss the position with a talent recruiter. I completed that phone call this morning which consisted of discussing the position and job duties, salaries and benefits. I accepted the offer which is now contingent my background check which should take about 2-3 weeks. Total length of the process is 3 days. I did what I needed to do to expedite the process by following and completing the steps needed on my end quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time (insert situational or behavioral question here). The first and last questions were introductions about yourself and a brief description of your background. The last question was anything that you would like to add that would make you stand out against other candidates and anything else that you would like for State Farm to know about you.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Dunwoody, GA)
Interview
Virtual recorded interview is first after passing typing test. Second, interview is with an HR Rep. It is not a full interview but giving an over view of the position and expectations. After that is discussed, you are asked if the job is something you are still interested in. Offers are sent in writing.
I first received a 7 question hirevue video interview. I didn't hear back after 2 weeks so I responded with one of the emails with a follow up. A day later I received an email for "candidate conversation" which was very relaxed. After that I had an interview with two questions regarding claim processing and was offered the job the next day.

Question 1
A question regarding how would I handle a claim where claimant was not providing documents for a claim.
Very simply. I went through a virtual interview. This was my first time doing one of these. The process was simple. I thought it was helpful in preparation for the real thing.
