Interview
Applied for the job and the job clearly read handling of inbound calls along with emails and sms txts from customers. Went through first interview was asked how would I prospect new business I was thinking inbound call wise. During my second interview before it even started I was asked to provide proof that I can sell and bring in new business leads. I told them it’s no problem to provide my performance but why do I have to prospect new leads. I was advised I would get the first crack at them but that’s it ( pretty much another way for the company to save money on buying leads or paying money for leads). I was also told I could make 6 figures easily, not sure how that’s possible with 3 to 4 leads a day and then the rest I have to bring my own leads…..Don’t waste your time with this company sounds like they are wanting someone to do all the work for them while they manage your book of business you might as well start your own agency.

Interview
I went through 2 phases. The first one was great. The second one was two parts and terrible. For the first part, the guy I spoke to was engaging and friendly. During the second part, the woman I spoke to was rude and condescending. I was in my car during my lunch break so I could have privacy. She actually asked me if I had just been sitting in my car waiting for them to call me - which I found off putting and extremely odd. I explained to her that I was on my lunch break. During the second phase of the interview, they did state they were going to reach out to my current supervisor. I think this is inappropriate at best. Not every candidate wants their current employer to know they are seeking employment elsewhere. They declined to proceed to a third interview and I would have declined as well. I don’t believe we would have been a good fit for each other.

No one ever followed up on my application and resume. No response at all. No one ever emailed me to say they were not interested ( which is the polite thing to do)
