Steel Dynamics Human Resources interview questions

I only went through one round of interviews. I am entering my junior year of college. It was an hour long interview. Probably 40 minutes of that was asking about my high school career. I thought it was very odd. They were also way more interested in why I chose the school I did rather than how I performed in school. The rest of the time was them spent talking about their experience, which was appreciated. They expected me to be way too professional for their lack of professionalism showed in the interview. Very odd to me that such a well known company with great reviews wants to ask a possible future intern about a high school career rather than college career or work experience. I didn’t even have a chance to talk about college or my 3 years of experience in the corporate world. Very disappointed.
