Found the position through a LinkedIn posting from a Staffing Group. 4:30 P.M. to 3 A.M. shift. Phone Interview with them went well and then scheduled a sit-down interview, recruiter gave company name, plant manager name, supervisor name that would likely sit in, and said HR director may or may not sit in. Told it was business casual, a collard shirt and jeans were acceptable.
Did some research, found the posting up on their site for 3 months, 20 days on Glassdoor. LinkedIn looking for 1+ year experience, Glassdoor asks 2+, Company website asks 3+.
It's a huge complex, 43 acres, but the office building to check in at is at the address listed.
Arrived for Interview, front desk is not aware it was scheduled. I give the name of the plant manager, he's unavailable. HR director is working remotely for the week.
Calls supervisor, thankfully he was made aware.
I'm given some PPE to borrow, he comes picks me up, drives me back a short distance to a small building with a meeting room. Met a few others on the maintenance staff. Everyone is friendly and supportive.
Interview is conducted by 3 supervisors, very relaxed and comfortable setting.
Typical questions, nothing out of the ordinary if you've done some basic preparation.
Finish up, taken over to the attached break room/ locker rooms, so they can discuss.
Short while later, I'm called back.
Plant manager is there and another of the maintenance staff. Total of 5 people.
Again, nothing out of the ordinary for questions. Finish up, taken back to office to return PPE and then went on my way.
Whole process was maybe a little over an hour. I was given the impression that I was a good fit.
