Had an initial interview with someone from the talent acquisition team. Revealed they hadn’t yet hired the accompanying digital team nor the head of digital (who you’d be reporting into) which was slightly off putting. They repeatedly stressed this role would be very independent and would not involve hiring a further seo team down the line and no agency support would be allowed, Yet they wanted you to take over from an agency and optimise for multiple markets on differing search engines so seemed there were very high expectations. They wanted you in the London office for 3 days a week no exceptions so something to keep in mind if applying too. Was intending on withdrawing my application and they wanted someone with apac market experience which wasn’t specifically mentioned on the job description - however I never heard back despite them being very responsive at first.
