This is a complain. This company did not respect individuals. I was an international student, and they invited me to onsite interviews. I had driven about an hour and half to their company, and HR chatted with me for a few minutes before the formal interviews. During those few minutes, she knew that I would need a H1B sponsorship, and she cancelled all my interviews immediately and said I could leave now. I asked could I at least meet a few people on the Marketing team and know about the business, and she said NO and they were very busy. So I drove almost 90 mins for maybe just 10 mins at their office. Before going to their company for interviews, I actually had a few emails with her and gave her all the materials she need. I obviously had an Asian name and on my resume prior to my graduate program at US, all my experiences and schools were in Asia, and she never mention that would be a problem. I think their HRs were not professional AT ALL and they did not respect people. I, as a student, deserve an apology from Sterilite. Hope they respect candidates in the future.
