First and foremost, the interviews are designed to get you excited about the company with egregious misdirection. Started with a phone screen, then a personality test and coding test, and a supposed 2.5 hour interview over Microsoft Teams. The interview was frankly a mind game. I got to see messages "leaked" in the chat about how excited they were to hire me about midway through. My interview was extended to about 5 hours, during which I was asked about my interests from many members of staff and told about company culture and how they pride themselves on transparency. At the end I was informed about benefits in detail. 2 days later I received a faceless rejection on Christmas Eve and was scolded when following up to inquire what I could've improved on. Transparency goes out the window once they realize you're not the one.
