I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Was referred by a current employee, once I received the interview date I was asked to choose 4 clothing items and 1 accessory for a fictional client that was provided. When I got to the interview I was asked to spend 5 minutes writing a friendly note to the fictional client that described why I chose the pieces for her. The interview was with a panel of 3 senior/lead stylists who asked me to tell them about myself, read my client note and go into detail about why I chose the products, and then I was given 5 pieces of clothing to categorize into their list of different styles. Lastly, I was asked to explain how I would style each individual piece and what kind of person/lifestyle I would send it to.
The process was seamless and pretty easy. Just have a passion for fashion and a great attitude. Everyone was super friendly! If you love fashion, this might be the job for you.
The interview took place via Zoom and was quick and easy with a local Lead Stylist. It was very straightforward and fine. Communication throughout the process was excellent. I received my offer quickly and accepted.

I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix in Feb 2021
Interview
I received an email about a week after applying to do a styling activity, about a week after that was submitted I was emailed again to set up a virtual interview. The interview went well, a lot of “tell me a time when” questions.
