I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
The interview process is LOOOONNNNGGGGG which makes it pretty horrible. They tell you in the initial emails that the process takes 2-6 months... WHAT? After several weeks of "don't worry you'll be interviewed", I got an in-person interview. The interview process is pretty easy as long as you're moderately aware of fashion and how to style people. They make you watch a video (with the interviewers sitting there) which is very awkward. The interviewers are stylists and don't have much information on the process or timing, which is pretty annoying. Anyway, 5 months later, and I'm still getting "hang tight, your offer will come soon!" emails. So, I guess I have the job but no start date in sight....
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
[with real clothes as props] Who would you style this for, how and why?
The interview process was great! Very straightforward and they were both friendly and encouraging. I made sure to memorize how I would answer a number of their questions and that really helped.
Standard job interview with two managers and a more in depth styling activity discussing different body types and what clothing I would put on them if I had their Fix

Question 1
How would you handle a client that really disliked a Fix you styled?
It was a simple interview, had to do mock styling then a zoom interview with hiring manager. Basic interview questions asked, basically looking for customer service experience for the job
