I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Austin, TX) in Jun 2017
Interview
Long process from start to finish. Once you finally obtain an interview you are asked to prepare a pinterest board for a faux client (fun). Upon arrival you are asked to write a faux note for the faux client explaining why you chose the items you are sending her. The interview is with two lead stylists (BEWARE they were extremely unfriendly, no personality, no smile very serious) made for a very uncomfortable interview!!! They ask you two questions basically, you are then asked to style 3 clothing items (dont be thrown off they are the ugliest dated clothing items that no one would wear, certain this is done to throw you off, which is so bad) and then ask to share your pinterest board (do not expect the lead stylists to say good job etc.....) and then you are given an opportunity to ask questions. Short/Sweet but I have to add probably the most uncomfortable I have ever been in an interview based on the two lead stylist peering eyes and expressionless faces.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself. How would you style this particular top for a particular situation. How did you hear about Stitch Fix.
The interview process was great! Very straightforward and they were both friendly and encouraging. I made sure to memorize how I would answer a number of their questions and that really helped.
Standard job interview with two managers and a more in depth styling activity discussing different body types and what clothing I would put on them if I had their Fix

Question 1
How would you handle a client that really disliked a Fix you styled?
It was a simple interview, had to do mock styling then a zoom interview with hiring manager. Basic interview questions asked, basically looking for customer service experience for the job
