I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Dallas, TX)
Interview
The process to interview was done in a few phases. You apply online & submit a resume, simple enough. At the end of the online phases, you are prompted to answer a few questions & write a paragraph's worth of responses to 3 or 4 questions. I was then emailed a few months after completing my online application notifying me that I was invited to interview. I picked out my most stylish outfit & scheduled my interview online. When arriving at the interview, I noticed there were a lot of applicants waiting. At the time, you were required to bring your laptop to the interview. I read over my prompts & looked at my secret Pinterest Board that was a prereq. to complete before the interview. I was finally called to start my interview. There were two other Stylists that conducted my interview and after the small talk ended we began! The two Stylists asked to see my pre-written notes to a potential client as well as my secret Pinterest Board. Neither of them had feedback or praise. Very straight-faced. I was then asked to describe a few garments that were in hanging on a rolling rack. A question that most stood out was, "Would send a 45 year old short, shorts?" They also asked what fabrics & silhouettes worked best with different body types. After the questions on the articles of clothing, the interview was over. I was then notified that I would be offered a role as a Part-Time Stylist later that week!

Question 1
What type of fabrics works best with a certain body type?
The interview process was great! Very straightforward and they were both friendly and encouraging. I made sure to memorize how I would answer a number of their questions and that really helped.
Standard job interview with two managers and a more in depth styling activity discussing different body types and what clothing I would put on them if I had their Fix
