I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Austin, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
You walk into their very nice office. There are stylish people all over the place. No one looks over 25. They have you log in through an Ipad. Then you walk down to a couch where there are 2 stylists to greet you. They have you watch a video on an Ipad, then write a short note that I would send to to the imaginary woman I did the Pinterest project for. I'm guessing they were timing me. Then I met with 2 lead stylists. The Pinterest project was an something you had to prepare for in advance.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Describe a time when you were given negative feedback in a job. How did you handle it?
There were a few items of clothing that they asked me to talk about. What age ranges would wear these items? How could they be styled for different age ranges and different occasions? They asked you to then present your Pinterest Board and talk about how you came up with your choices. After that I was asked to read aloud the note that I had written at the beginning of the interview.
Standard job interview with two managers and a more in depth styling activity discussing different body types and what clothing I would put on them if I had their Fix
