Applied via online app. Took 2+ weeks to get a response from a human. After that, was given less than 24 hours to fill out a writing prompt that was a response to common customer questions.
Was invited to in person interview. Sat with employee and watched her answer customer questions. Was an interested experience. Then sat through a generic interview where two managers took notes and asked questions as they were written.
Was told it'd take 3 weeks to get a response.
Overall, my experience with Stitch Fix was a "meh" one. I found their process to be painstakingly slow, which is not common for this type of job, especially in Austin. If it wants to pose as a tech company, then they need to hire as if actually are one, which means quick turn around time on offers or declines.
The employee I spoke with was critical of the company and said it was a boring and repetitive job with little opportunity for advancement. Not exactly what you want to hear as a candidate.
From the start to the end of this process was 40 days. That really has me shaking my head.
