I applied for Stitch online. Pretty quickly, I received an email from the VP of Marketing requesting a call. A few days later, we spoke for an hour - was a great conversation, and he advised he'd like to set up calls with a few folks on his team. The next week, I spoke with both of those folks and had great phone conversations. The second one ended with the person saying 'I really hope I get to meet you'. All calls seemed to go well, then nothing. I reached out to the hiring manager to check in a few days later and got no response. NOTHING. I get that I wasn't the right person for the job, but I invested 3+ hours into talking to these folks (excluding the time I spent preparing) and I think that warrants a 2-second email saying 'thanks, but no thanks.'
Interview etiquette is dead at this company.
