The experience was good overall. It's important to have a strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms, as they form the core of the evaluation. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
There were three rounds in total:
The first round was a technical interview, focused on DSA and problem-solving.
The second round was a managerial interview, where they asked in-depth questions based on my resume and past experiences.
I’m not sure about the final round, as I wasn’t selected to move forward.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at StockX (Detroit, MI) in Apr 2020
Interview
There wasn't really a technical process for this internship, they called me a couple times and asked about my past internships and projects. The recruiters were really nice and the culture of the company is very relaxed. Only thing I was was different were that I could have been in Detroit instead of Detroit but I'm thankful to have had the opportunity nonetheless.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me about a cool project I've worked on and asked me to describe how I did it. Nothing too difficult at all, I was shocked there weren't any technical questions.
Super aggressive recruiter kept calling me and texting me trying to set up an in-person interview. Went to the HQ and interviewed with a technical team, went okay, sent follow up to the recruiter and never heard back
