I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stop & Shop in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied through the company website and got called in for an interview three days later. They asked a few standard questions but nothing difficult. Availability seemed to be very important. I also had no prior work experience but the manager was understanding and didn't do anything to make me feel guilty about that or anything.
I did get called about five days after the first interview for a second one but I turned it down because for the other job I applied for, one interview was enough.
Short and to the point. Asked about prior experience working in customer service, and I mentioned that I had in the past for a few different other companies in the nearby area.
Super easy, they basically just ask you about any experience and then your availability. It is very informal, jeans and a sweater work for an interview outfit. Overall, the interview probably lasted about 15-30 minutes.
Relatively easy, hired on spot. You are asked about your availability and what shifts you can work, what is your weekend availability like. Have you held a job before etc
