Applied online. Recruiter called me during my working hours, and told me to call her back. I did, and she asked for a few moments - she then was late in calling me back. Awkward considering I'm already taking time out of my busy workday. Anyway we set up time for a longer conversation the next day, and she was late in calling me for that appointment too! We spoke about my experience, and it turns out the actual position I applied for was already offered, so we discussed other opportunities, which was very encouraging. She let me know to expect follow up the next week. Two weeks go by and I don't hear anything, so I reached out via email, no reply. I tried again two weeks later and still, no reply. So, basically as another poster on here said, this unprofessional recruiter ghosted me. At least let me know if I'm not a fit for the position when I reach out. Don't waste your time because you may never hear back!
