I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Strayer University (Baltimore, MD) in Mar 2016
Interview
After applying I was contacted for a 15 minute phone interview. One day later I was contacted for an on campus interview with a regional representative. She only asked 3 behavioral questions from her laptop. She didn't seem interested in hearing about me as a candidate. When I asked questions about employee retention I was told "no one leaves, everyone loves it here. The only reason people leave is for a promotion". I knew that wasn't true. When I asked her specifically how long people have been within their positions, she said she couldn't quote me an answer because it could become a legal issue. It was very odd. I felt like I was in Wayward Pines.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Strayer University (Raleigh, NC) in Nov 2015
Interview
Application was submitted, an interview was scheduled within 2 days of receipt of application, interview held within three days of scheduling. The position required knowledge of certain academic roles and processes which I prepared for. I prepared for the interview by bringing questions or my own and highlighting certain terms I was not clear on defining.
