Poor interview process overall and very disappointing communication. The whole process took more than 2 months.
- The first recruiter I spoke to was 20 minutes late to call me.
- There were periods of up to 10 days without any communication where I had to follow up with the hiring team to find out about next steps.
- Once I was rejected via email, the recruiter offered to give me feedback over the phone, but decided to ghost me instead.
- One of the interviewers told me they don’t like people. Then why are you working on a team that involves people management and interfacing with customers?
I expected much better from a company like Stripe. The recruiters were unhelpful, lacked basic common courtesy, and had abysmal communication skills.
