While I personally believe Stripe will be one of, if not, the biggest fintech company in the world at some point, my interview experience here was horrible. The fact that most of the other reviews I read touch on the same things that I noticed leads me to believe some of these positive reviews are very fake. I interviewed in May 2021, process took around a month in a half. Disgustingly lengthy process for a very entry level position (priority ops is essentially a technical support role) and every single interviewer I met with seemed completely uninterested and I could almost smell the arrogance through zoom. After like 8 total interviews you go through, they follow up with a very generic email, completely disregarding how much time and effort candidates invest throughout the process. I was very hesitant about being vocal about this experience initially but I recently decided to do some research into their reviews to see how everyone experienced the recruitment process and I was so disappointed/angered reading these reviews of candidates describing exactly what I was so hesitant to share that I felt I had a duty to share my experience as well. Don't get me wrong, Stripe is a very exciting company with massive potential but their recruitment process is very... unnecessary and almost insulting with how little regard they have for their candidates time. Trust the bad reviews on here. Do not take them lightly. More likely than not, the positive reviews being left here are fake as most candidates are seem to be having a very similar negative experience.

I got to the 3rd stage for the interview with a peer and didn't make it further due to unsuitable previous experience. Would have preferred to have this interview prior to the home assignment as lots of time was put into that and I am working full time. Overall, very friendly and smart bunch. Would be happy to try my luck again in the future if the opportunity arises.
