I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe in Jan 2022
Interview
Stripe has a very structured and thorough interview process. I first met with the Recruiter, Ashley, for an initial screen, then a first round interview with a Stripe Recruiter, and finally a panel round meeting 4 people. The first interview was more conversational, covering my overall experience and digging into my approach and some more difficult reqs I've supported. For the panel round, I met with 4 people for 45-mins each back to back. The first interview was with a Recruiting Manager covering willingness to be wrong & intrinsic motivation, the next was with an Engineering Manager where we did a role play of an intake call, next I met with the Head of Technical Recruiting covering resilience and accountability, and lastly, I met with another Recruiter covering collaboration and consciousness.
These interviews were more difficult than other interviews I've had in the past, though I think it shows they truly care about hiring only the best talent and folks who really embody their culture and values.

Tips:
-I suggest using the STAR method (situation, task, action, results) to clearly communicate your examples.
-Use as much data as possible in your examples or as your explaining things. They like to see you can utilize data whether it be market data or various reporting tools.
The overall process was awful. I thought things were off to a great start, but slowly Stripe's reputation came through. For one, I didn't have on sole recruiter who I could ask questions or get a timeline from. Two, the panel interview felt very "gotcha" and if you didn't answer exactly the way that the interviewer wanted you to, it immediately dinged you. It was incredibly cold and odd. Lastly, I noticed that the department wasn't very diverse and felt like the "cool kids" table at a high school. So, if you talked and looked like them, you'll get in - if not, good luck.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the questions was around how I handled priorities, since they're really keen on that.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Stripe
Interview
I only had a phone screening, but was told the full process would include 5 interviews, which I find way too much. I was also told that the length of the process could reach up to 6 months.

Question 1
Types of roles I recruited for, involvement in process management initiatives
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe in Oct 2023
Interview
My experience was rather poor. Each step of the way, the recruiters and managers were late by 5 minutes or more - including the initial interview in which the recruiting manager did not even show up and had to reschedule.
There were three, 30 minute interviews so when the interviewers show up late, it doesn't exactly give you enough time to chat about your experience. Also speaks to an unorganized internal process.

Question 1
Questions were based around their internal organizational principles but there was no prep time, no explanation on what to expect, etc.
