I applied online. I interviewed at Stripe in Sep 2022
Interview
The recruiter was great and very transparent. The interviews were all very conversational and lacked insight into what was actually expected of the person filling the role. There were none of the standard interview questions, so there wasn't an space to talk about practical transferable behavioral and skill based examples.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Got an interview via a recruiter. 1st interview went really well despite needing to be rescheduled a bunch. The 2nd interview link didn't work so we needed to improvise. It was much more difficult and I was asked situational questions. Not sure the interviewer vibed with me as much as the first person did unfortunately, so it's no surprise that they didn't move forward. Despite them saying things like they "would have hired someone yesterday if they could" and that someone would be needed "asap", the whole process took more than a month to hear back. After the 2nd interview I followed up and didn't hear back for weeks until the recruiter eventually said that the position was closed, instead of Stripe sending a simple "sorry you weren't chosen" email. :/ I got the impression that Stripe's a bit disorganized from the whole experience, but I still thought it would be a great place to work at.

Interview
Automated and straight forward email received to provide availability for a telephone interview.
Recruiter called 6 minutes late, sounded out of breath and rushing to get me through some very vague questions and then they explained the next steps... Call lasted 11 minutes. :/
The next day I received an automated unsuccessful email. Very odd and unorganised.
