Spoke with the recruiter a few times. Awesome energy and a great salesperson for the company. Got to a call with the hiring manager and could not have been less impressed. He showed up wearing a hoodie, fine, but tell me you don’t care without telling me you just don’t care. Didn’t even say hello or make any small talk just went right to the scripted questions he was clearly reading off of another screen. I’ve never been less interested in a job or potentially working for someone after an interview. I almost feel bad for whoever reports to this manager as he seems completely devoid of personality or EQ. He actually got flustered when I asked him a question he couldn’t answer!
