Who wrote Stripe’s application declination/disposition email? Whoever is responsible for such an unprofessional, disrespectful and poorly worded template should be fired immediately!
I applied for several Recruiter positions in which I have extensive years of experience doing every item listed in their “You’ll” section of the job posting and I meet every item listed in their “Our Ideal Candidate Will Have” section; yet, I received the following email response:
“Thank you so much for your application and interest in Stripe. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we don't see you being a fit for this particular role. That said, things are constantly evolving at Stripe, and there could be a fit for you down the road. We encourage you to keep an eye on our jobs page for future opportunities.”
In addition to the fact that you “don’t see me being a fit for this particular role,” clearly, you also didn’t actually see my resume. You “encourage me to keep an eye on” your jobs page? After being left with an extremely poor impression of Stripe, I’ll pass! I no longer see you as being the kind of company I would want to work for.
ATTN: Stripe Recruiters – you are the initial face and the first impression of the company and you are doing a very POOR job!

Question 1
"What sparks your interest in Recruiting at Stripe?" After such a rude experience, absolutely nothing.
