I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker (Kalamazoo, MI) in Feb 2012
Interview
The internal recruiter that I worked with at this company was terrible. They would not respond to e-mails at all. I had a phone interview and was told that I would hear something within a week. When 2 weeks went by, I sent an e-mail, and no response. After another week, I sent another another e-mail and this time, the next day, I got the standardized letter e-mailed to me saying we have decided to more forward with other more qualified candidates.
Interview process was fine, first was with a talent person via phone call. It went well and they were pretty nice. Relataively long interview process in general though which you have to prepare for.
Three phone interviews then a Zoom. No follow up after the zoom. Process was lengthy (about 40 days) and never heard back even after several follow up emails. Phone calls were repetitive.

Question 1
How do you manage changes to your departamental budget?
Had an excellent first interview with HR. Was told I was moving to next level. Recruiter was very complimentary and excited to connect with hiring manager to book the next interview. Then crickets. Received an email 3-4 weeks later from a generic mailbox indicating they were looking at different candidates.
