The recruiter set up an interview. He started the call by saying this is not an interview but just to inform me of the interview process, talk about the company, benefits and compensation. He did 90% of the talking. Asked me very briefly about my current role and then in 3 days rejected me via email saying "we have other applicants who have a background and experiences that more closely fit our needs for this particular position". He could have not set up the first video call if my resume was not a match. Very disappointing.
