The first round with HR was excellent she basically told me I'm the exact candidate they're looking for and my experience encompasses everything they're seeking. So I was extremely excited and hopeful. Then round two came where I had to speak with the hiring manager and it was the most confusing interview I've ever been in. Usually, I can pick up in an interview how an interviewer's body language is, but I could not understand at all. On top of that, I found out that they had a hard stop 15 minutes into the interview, which I felt I could've been informed of earlier. All that, for them to not move ahead with me because of my "experience" for the role. Which was not what I was told at all in the beginning. Very confusing. But Tapestry is an amazing company and I look forward to applying again another time.
