I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Subway
Interview
I applied online, called ahead to find out the hiring manager's name and when she'd be there, went in-store to turn in my resume to her.
Got a call a couple weeks later asking to come in for an interview, and then a second one a couple days later (I did not like how long communication came from them, but I'm sure they 're busy).
Typical questions any google search will turn up! I lucked out and accidentally grabbed the notes sheet the interviewer made. Her comments: "Nice, good conversation, looking for 20-25 hours, works weekends elsewhere"
Based on those notes, they are pretty much looking for confidence and availability! Good luck!
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
