I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Subway (Twentynine Palms, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied online on a Monday after being encouraged to apply by someone who was leaving. I figured I would give it a shot. Sounded like an open door to me. I was going to call the next week and inquire about my application. Turns out I did not need to do that. The following Sunday I got a call from Subway. I have never had anyone call me on Sunday for an interview. It was the manager. He wanted me to come in the morning for an interview. I arrived 15 minutes early and spoke with the female manager. I answered basic questions. She said she really liked me a lot and at most they would know something by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I figured I would call if I hadn't heard from them. Well about 6 hours later I get a call saying welcome to the Subway Crew. I gladly accepted
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I really did not have any difficult questions. It was mostly about transportation, availability, if I can multitask, how I handle authority, and what 3 words would I use to describe myself.
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
