The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Subway (Portland, OR) in Oct 2010
Interview
We showed up at the restaurant and waited for about 10 minutes until the store owner came over, introduced himself, and announced he had to leave. Myself and two other girls then interviewed with the store manager for about 15 minutes as she went over each of our applications. It was very basic, just verifying and explaining past work experience and current schedule flexibility. At the end she informed us that if they had any more questions we'd have another interview with the store owner.
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
