I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Subway (Knoxville, TN) in Feb 2009
Interview
i filled out the application online, printed it and handed it to a store manager. within two days i was contacted and set up an interview. i was expecting to have to call them back to check the status. i was greeted in a professional manner, shook hands and sat down. she asked some relevant questions regarding customer service and my expectations at the company. at the end of the interview i was offered the position. i accepted and was given the employee handbook to review and start working in two days.
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
