I was recruited through LinkedIn, had a phone call with a recruiter and then an in-person group interview. I was originally very excited about this opportunity, but then read all the experiences here on Glassdoor and was disappointed. Nevertheless, I decided to form my own opinion and use the experiences to expect the best but prepare for the worst. Unfortunately, they were spot on. They are really looking for candidates who will fall in line with their rigid, authoritarian teaching style. The first part of the interview was a poem analysis, and the interviewer refused to see other points of view. One of the other candidates aptly pointed out that the poem had religious overtones, which the students at Success would probably identify (given that many of them come from religious populations and groups), and was immediately shut down. In the second part of the interview, we modeled reprimanding students and were given gendered feedback ("your voice has an upward inflection, why is that?"). I don't know what to make of this, but didn't appreciate that their screening process was essentially a screening of whether or not you can confirm to a hierarchy and reprimand students. Lastly, the recruiter originally told me there was a "range of salaries, with room to negotiate". This is not the case. Regardless of your background, experience, and education, you will be offered the same salary as everyone else, which is not competitive at all compared to the market. Furthermore, the health benefits are basically non-existent (huge deductible, this means basically everything non-preventative is out of pocket). Considering that they are upfront about their 11 hour workdays, this was a hugely disappointing and misleading hiring process. Read the other reviews, and don't waste your time interviewing.
