I was emailed three weeks after applying for the position. I was told I would have a phone interview on Dec. 6 at noon. When the recruiter called, she said she does interviews for Specials teachers, which immediately let me know that I was not being called for the job I really wanted and for which I have superb qualifications. (I also noticed in the initial email from another person in recruiting that she said "employment opportunities" with them so I should have known.) It was basically a waste of everyone's time since I have ZERO idea why companies would contact people for jobs they don't even want. I felt extremely disrespected and diminished as a professional by this situation.
