Got recruited through LinkedIn. Had a Skype meeting with the recruiter where she told me she could expedite the process. I applied the same day and heard back the next day about going to a group interview in two weeks. I couldn't make it at this point, so I had it rescheduled and had mine a few days ago. The interview itself was pretty easy. The first portion, classroom management was definitely the most uncomfortable, but I knew coming in because I had read reviews here, but it was nowhere near what it seems. It wasn't as scary and we were explained that you just say what the expectation was (don't ask) because the child might confront you, and to not say please and thank you because in such cases it's something that they should already be doing. Different, but made sense. They also said they operate based on conditioning with punishment and reinforcement. The second portion was analyzing a poem. I personally have not taken any literature classes in years so I found this a bit hard, and because I never know if what I'm suggesting as the theme or meaning is the right one, I ask with a questioning tone. "Could it be that..." I was told to be more confident a number of times with my answers because I was actually on the right track, however, this was all said very nicely and in a friendly manner, so although I knew I messed up by not appearing confident, I didn't think it would cost me the interview. The last portion was the one on one. I nailed this one, I was authentic, but at the same time answered everything in a very good way, so I felt super comfortable with the last part. I had done a lot of research on the school, so I was set with any question. I honestly thought I would get it (I did consider the confidence part but I was a tiny portion of the overall interview), but I didn't. I know think your demeanor of being confident and assertive is even more important than what you say, because in the end their biggest thing is enforcing discipline.
