I applied for the Statistical Analyst position because I have four years of experience in analytics, which my resume clearly illustrates. About a month after I send in my application, I'm contacted by a recruiter asking to set up an interview for a Coordinator position. I checked out the job description she included and it's essentially an entry-level job taking notes, scheduling appointments and doing other administrative work. They're clueless about how to hire and I told the recruiter that considering people for jobs below their skill level (that they didn't even apply to!) is insulting and a waste of everyone's time.
