I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Summit Public Schools in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied through the online platform. They got back to me within a few weeks. I had a quick phone screen: they were interested in how much I know about their model, and whether I agree with it or not. Then, I had an hour-long interview on Zoom. It was a great experience, everyone is nice and genuinely interested in what you have to say.
For the zoom meeting, I had to prepare a pitch and prep for a simulation.
Pretty simple process. You do an application online and then you get an interview on the phone and then on zoom. You must do a 5 minute lesson plan and role play a scenario.
