I applied online. I interviewed at Sumo.com (Austin, TX) in Apr 2017
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by Sam. She setup a quick phone interview and asked general culture/personality questions. It went very well and she was very friendly.
I was then asked to complete a coding challenge within a weeks time. The challenge was to build a full stack survey app with admin interface. After completing the challenge, I had a quick phone interview with Chad (CTO). Sam contacted me shortly after and asked that I come on site for an in-person interview.
I spoke with Chad and Eric (Lead Engineer) and they asked me some culture/personality questions as well as some technical questions. Noah (CEO) was out of the office so I had a phone interview with him later that day. Everyone I met with was very friendly and great to talk to.
The process was very quick and they have great communication. I had an offer within 2 days.
